Hello again... Step 4 ... already! How are you doing? I'd love to hear from you...
Today's step is all about creating balance and enhancing your relationships... with yourself , with others, your work, your art and other activities you participate in that you enjoy.
Some Thoughts Before You Begin...
"Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them but I can look up and see the beauty, believe in them and try to follow where they lead." Louisa May Alcott
"Be aware of wonder. Live a balanced life --learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work some every day." --Robert L. Fulghum
It takes courage for many women to stop and take a look inside at those things that nourish, delight, energize, inspire and soothe us. A vast majority of us have spent our lives taking care of others, living our lives by someone else's timetables and priorities. When was the last time that you took time out of your busy life to reflect, rediscover, realign, regroup and renew your relationship with yourself?
Achieving a balanced, high quality life comes from within you. There is no paint by the numbers kit, a quickie tutorial or "how to" package for creating a balanced life that nurtures, sustains and fulfills us. It comes from within us and when we pause to listen attentively to the music playing in our hearts, we can hear the words to the heartsong of our authentic self.
*CREATE BALANCE IN MY LIFE AND RELATIONSHIPS*
What changes do I need to make to better balance my life this year?
What will I do this year to make my relationships with my family, spouse, children and friends even better?
What 5 things could I do to take care of myself extremely well this year?
What 3 things can I do differently this year to enjoy my art, my life and my work even more?
What types of people do I want to connect with this year?
My deepest wish is....
What I am most grateful for is....
My greatest aspiration for this year is...
"The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate." --Oprah Winfrey
"Just as your car runs more smoothly and requires less energy to go faster and farther when the wheels are in perfect alignment, you perform better when your thoughts, feelings, emotions, goals, and values are in balance." --Brian Tracy
"If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much." --Jim Rohn
"A #2 pencil and a dream can take you anywhere." --Joyce A. Myers
"Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life." Wayne Dyer
See you tomorrow...
