What a great genealogy story, Sharon! I, too, have worked on our family history, so I'll be anxiously awaiting "the rest of the story" from you. Just this holiday season I rec'd some unexpected photos of my dad and stepmother; it would be nice to do something more with them than put them in a drawer with all the other stuff from my sleuthing.

This is just beautiful, Sharon! How wonderful that you found all this information and photos and lucky the home and school are still the same. I never knew either of my grandparents and always wonder about them and their lives so far away in Italy. How I wish I had something like this go hang on to. You're always so inspiring.

I loved reading about your journey. I have researched my husbands family back to 1695 - I started because I wanted to know where a pirate (Benjamin Hornigold) fit into the tree.
What an exciting journey it has been, ups and downs and wrong routes as you say - but worth the trip; the journey continues... I was sent a photo just before Xmas from a kind lady and I thought I need to make this
